Dear ECSA Community,

Eastern Connecticut Sailing Association is excited to announce that Annie Longo has accepted the position of Chair of the Junior Sailing Committee. Annie will lead our region’s juniors to fun and competitive sailing.

Many of you already know Annie, an experienced junior sailing instructor, head instructor and race coach at several ECSA member clubs. For both outstanding coaching and mentoring, in August 2022 Annie was recognized for and awarded ECSA Excellence in Instruction. Students, parents, fellow instructors and junior club advisors indicate Annie is the best sailing instructor, on and off the water, they ever had.

In January 2023 U S Sailing award Annie its Excellence in Instruction award.

In addition to demonstrating wonderful leadership as an instructor, Annie is passionate about the Mudratz, offshore sailing and environmental stewardship.

Our community is incredibly fortunate Annie will be leading ECSA Junior Sailing. Let’s all support Annie in every way we can.
